Was für ein verrücktes Ding ... konfus, dunkel, verstörend! Relativ simpel gestrickt, artet es gegen Ende in komplettes Chaos aus. Auch hier: Bellamys verzerrte, eher hintergründige Stimme, die außer gequälten "ooohhs" and "aaahhs" und ab und zu eingestreuten Textbrocken wie "Force me in, squeeze me in" textlich nicht viel hergibt, setzt dem Ganzen die Krone auf ... der Song hat etwas Progressives, Düsteres und Unheimliches. Ursprünglich erschien er 1999 auf der Debütsingle der Band, in einer leicht gekürzten Version kam er dann auch auf die B-Seiten-Sammlung "Hullabaloo Soundtrack" - dort gleich als Opener. Perfekt gewählt, denn die B-Seiten sind bei der Band häufig noch viel verstörender als die Albumtracks. Sicherlich weit unter Muse-Fähigkeiten - er zeigt dennoch einmal mehr ihre Vielseitigkeit.

Perfekt als Intro der verstörenden Compilation "Hullabaloo" gewählt, denn einen Song wie diesen findet man nur auf genanntem Album. Düster, zerbrechlich und wie Time_Q schon erwähnte auch ziemlich verstörend. Gute 5!

Im Grunde genommen ein verrückter Trip-Hop-Trip oder wie irgendwas von den Post-Rockern GY!BE, nur drastisch in der Länge gekürzt.

Für mich jedenfalls progressiv und zudem MUSE at their finest!
